Poem: Hours in the Day

Hours in the day.

How they go flying by.

Where do they go?

I do not know!

Working day in and day out.

Trying to figure out

What life is all about.

Time flies by on a whim.

I do not know where

One begins and one ends.

Life is spinning by so fast.

Time just does not last.

In one glimpse today is the past.

Thinking about slowing down.

Can’t, because life would see me as a clown.

Working so hard without a frown.

My work is my plan.

So I will continue until I am no more.

Thank-you for reading.
Much love and light
